Advanced lessons are designed for students wanting to progress their current surfing skills. During an advanced lesson, instructors will help you perfect anything from proper bottom turn to setting up for a barrel or noseriding. With such a wide range of knowledge, the surf instructors can include an assessment of your ability and goals, and provide a plan for further development. Surf Camps at Surf Asylum
If you really want to dive into surfing, a surf camp at Surf Asylum is the best place to go! Surf Asylum’s week-long summer surf camps are fun and action-packed. Instructors will begin teaching the basics of handling a surfboard, paddling techniques, proper positioning for catching waves, and much more. All students will be encouraged to progress at their own pace, and instructors will receive tailored coaching to match their skills level! Camps are held Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at a rate of $235 per week. Surfboards, rashguards, and healthy snacks are all provided!
